I’ve worked with many different clients and concerns over the years. After hearing about what made you contact me, we will discuss your goals. The ACT strategies typically involve exploring your values, goals, thoughts, and feelings. We then begin to implement strategies (such as unhooking from overwhelming thoughts and feelings, immediacy, and interpersonal effectiveness) to improve the situation or your ability to manage it.
The overall goal is to have a better understanding and relationship with your thoughts and feelings.
