About
Chris Leeth. That’s me.
Professional Counselor. Life-long gamer.
Life, am I right?
Sometimes, things go in a direction we didn’t intend. Other times, we don’t even know which direction we want life to take. However, it is absolutely possible to navigate these situations and to feel better.
Counseling is a process that helps identify goals and strengths, as well as thoughts and feelings. It happens in a place where you can freely share your experiences with a counselor who will not judge you. The focus is on you, what you need, and how to reach your goals.
I am a board-approved Licensed Professional Counselor (and Supervisor) in Texas. I have a doctoral degree in Counselor Education and Supervision and currently serve as an Assistant Professor at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. I utilize Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) in my practice. I’ve been practicing for over ten years and have worked with various concerns and clients. My areas of expertise include (but are not limited to):
Couples counseling and relationship issues.
Perfectionism and control.
Addiction (substance and behavior).
Trauma.
Life stuff.
Problematic gaming
If you’d like to see if I’d be a good fit for you or your concern, please reach out. We can schedule a time to talk about you and your goals and develop a plan to work together.
Currently, I am working solely through telehealth.
